What is "Ghettos Gear 4 Me"

"This is the brainchild of Maurice Eleby, a self sufficient man from Chicago with a creative streak.

Eleby had a banner year in 2007 at MAGIC, the international apparel, garments, fashion clothing and accessories show in Las Vegas.

That year, rapper Bun B wanted one of his shirts and said he loved the concept.

LL Cool J was at that same show on stage, and surrounded by people, but sent a bodyguard over to say, “LL wants one of your shirts.” Even Damon Dash told him, “You really have something.”

Later that day, Ilana Nunn, then PR Manager for Phat Farm, said: “My boss (Russell Simmons) wants one of your shirts.” He of course obliged and had a few discussions with Phat Farm when they called.

It's apparel that leaves its mark on everyone who wears one, keep tuned in, there is a lot more to come."
